Only animal lovers can fully understand the depth of grief when a beloved family pet passes away. This may be the best option for renters who do not wish to place the remains in a pet cemetery, but for obvious reasons, cannot bury them in the yard. Other pet memorials act as headstones to mark the spot of burial if burying your pet at home. These pet grave markers can be found in many of the same styles seen in human headstones. However, this may be unsettling to some who do not wish to have a traditional grave marker in their yard. For this reason, some pet memorials are engraved or etched onto rocks and stones which naturally blend with your landscape, but have a special design to act as a lasting memorial.
